Please suggest a good web host with cpanel

I have Ixwebhosting but someone said they are a bit outdated with tech although their customer service is impeccable

I have a friend who works for IXWebhosting and he even says it's crap. He works at the tech support center and he is always complaining about all their hardware failures and the fact that everyone who works with him are a bunch of idiots who don't know shit about computers or even using the internet, etc. He doesn't recommend their hosting even.

Depends on what you want to host, if your websites dont break hostgators TOS, go with them, I've had no problems with them, unlimited websites with unlimited everything pretty much, $10/month!

Yeah, I'm using hostgator for 2 years now, they've been great, fast and good support, but didn't really used them for BH. I have an ixwebhost acc too, and yeah, it really sux :) Last week I got a dreamhost acc. I don't even know how reliable are them or how good/bad, but I didn't even care, bc they offer 1 year unlim (with a * ofcourse :) ) + a .com domain for 9$ :) so I just took it :) just trying...

Dreamhost is pretty bad. Their servers are extremely oversold. I had some decent sized e-commerce site on them once temporarily while I setup dedicated. During the 2days it was on their servers, the site was down a few times for over an hour each time because their server was overloaded and they needed to 'move' my site.

I'm not going to say that is going to happen to everyone with DH, if you have a small traffic site it will most likely be fine. Sometimes the server will be too overloaded and you might get slow load times and/or a couple timeouts though.

They are pretty damn cheap tho :)
