so i'm using magix and it's worked better than vegas for me which couldn't even manually change the duration of pics accurately, but it doesn't have quality subtitles and stuff that look good, has a few annoying bugs, rendering options are hard to understand, really clunky to use at times, etc.

basically i want to know what kind of video makers you use, as this one does the job but i feel it could be a lot better.

Adobe Premier and Adobe After effects are all you need. Sony vegas should work fine though.

okay, i have after effects but it seemed like it had a really steep learning curve and i figured i didn't need something so advanced and complicated but i guess i could try and figure it out if it's good.
do i need both that and premier though?
i gave u 1 reason why vegas didn't work for me.

Been using after fx for 10 yrs now.

Its a pain in the ass to edit there.
After effect is only for whats it called and thats after effects as in high quality visual production, no need for you to learn it as it takes years before you are able to truly do what you imagine in your head.

Use after effects only for the intro.
Premiere pro is the sidekick of after effects with it you can edit just like in vegas.

So for the video editing production you want tl use premiere pro.

I'll go with Final Cut Pro if you have a Mac. It is rather easy to learn and would do great for simple videos as a top 10.

That works too. Honestly even movie maker would do the job just fine.
