Good tool for Tier 1

Step 1: Software to create accounts (web 2.0 properties and other HQ/High PR kind of links for tier 1)
Step 2: Macros/Software to customize the web 2.0 (remove default post, set a custom random theme and other settings)
Step 3: Software and Manual proofread to create HQ articles (spin articles then edit them slightly to make sure they read well and are highly unique)
Step 4: Software/Macros to publish/post the articles either all at once or drip-feed them
Step 5: Software (or web-based solution) to index them

So if you are using web 2.0 accounts for the 1st time, then yes do them all manually for the 1st time so you get a hang out of it of what themes/settings they have to be customized then use what I told you above. If you don't have money to invest for software, do it with Imacros (hence why you have to do manually for 1st time), that's how I started.

Once you are familiar with the properties, 90% of your work can be automated with software, so all this "manual bla bla" stuff is completely BS, if you know what you are doing and have full control, you can do almost everything automated! But take care of not leaving any footprints.

I'll side with the "do it correctly" view in this discussion, including the point made by thunderelvi that you can use tools or software correctly on tier 1 as well. Manually, schmanually, the bottom line is that 'automation' (G's algo) is being used to detect spammy tier structures, whether they are created by hand or by bot. So if Google can use automation smartly, so can everybody else. So long as your links appear to be of quality and diverse on tier 1, that's all that really matters.

I am build my tier 1s with GSA, using Matthews spinning tutorial. Its good to have control over your Tier 1 links.

What is matthews spinning tutorial ?

And what about Seo Content Machine is it good for Tier 1 links ?

Matthews tutorial is great. You learn about spinning and some tools. But he uses UD for T1, so you can't purly rely on his GSA Guide included in this tutorial (If I remember correctly, he didn't use GSA macros which are important imo when doing T1 content).

However it is not that hard to figure out how to set up GSA the right way. If done correctly, it will work just fine for T1 backlinking (just keep in mind to focus on quality).

I am using superspun articles and keep the posting rates low, so no problems with spam/dublicate content etc.

I love all these people proclaiming that manual is better then automated, like Google can tell if you have set up your tier one with a tool or not, if your content is somewhat descend with some pictures and/or video then Google has NO WAY!!!!!!! to find out if your working with a tool or not.

I use a cracked tool to setup my tier one web 2.0, i create 20/25 properties in no time and there is no way you or some bot called Google can tell the difference, but you have to set it up right, you have to spin your content manually, i will take about two hours to spin a 350/400 word article that is unique and readable i will ad different images with different manes using my keyword.

Once you have set that up you can build as many web2/wiki properties for your tier one as you think you need, there is no need (besides spinning) to do this manually at all, people who tell you that you do have no clue of what they are talking about. (no you don't)

Writing new content from every tier 1 property you create is a total waste of time. Create 1 400+ words article.. manually spin it on a sentence level with 3+ variations. You will get around 5-6 articles from this. Use these 5-6 articles and spin them to word level. You will end up with around 22-25 articles. Just look at them and correct few errors..

All in all, within 20-30 minutes you will end up with 22-26 articles for tier 1 and all of them will make sense. You just have to do the sentence level spinning yourself without any tool.. and use a good spinner for word level spinning. then just correct the few mistakes.

For automating the tier 1 posting, i have found an online tool named RankwWyz. From the look of it, it sounds really great but I have not tested it yet.

I would say ultimate demon for automation.
As far as tier 1 content that should be you very own and then spun with out recognition.
This a very helpful spinning video tutorial.
