Hi everyone! I just wanted to share great news that I have three potential clients, all of them coming almost at the same time! First, I'd like to thank this thread for giving me a great idea. Ugh. I can't post links yet. It's Taktikal's thread. I'm sure you've seen it. In that thread, Taktikal talked about the power of referrals. So I asked my Mom who's pretty active with the local Rotary club to look for potential clients. Well, what do you know. One of her friends who is launching a new product wanted a website and her website guy moved out of the country. So she quickly asked if she can meet up with me. So she went to my home office. She only wanted a website at first. But thanks to the things that I learned in BHW, I was able to wow her with a presentation regarding the benefits of SEO and SMM. We were in front of the computer, did a little keyword research and showed her how I can bring a torrent of targeted customers to her site. I also said something like this so feel free to use it. Note that she advertised on billboards and magazines. "Sure, your billboard is probably seen by 5,000 people a day. But how many of them actually paid attention? How many of them wanted to buy the product in the first place? "With SEO, I can bring you at least a thousand of people a month to your website. But the difference is, these people are actually looking for your product." "Which is more effective and efficient?" As soon as she answers SEO, that's when you jump in. The following night, my Mom told me that two of her other friends wanted to have websites put up. My original client was with them, telling them how great I am. The other two already scheduled meetings with me. I quoted them for the website first. Once that's set up, I'll make a quotation for the SEO part. Once again, thanks to this site!
