Good resources on spinners?

I've become interested in spinners lately, does anyone have good resources to point to on the development of article spinners (or better yet,experience coding one)?

The articles I am interested in are fairly short so I was just thinking about just coming up with the adjectives manually and telling my script to replace selected words with adjectives. Hopefully, I would come up with large enough adjective lists.However, I was hoping to see how the more experienced programmers(perhaps linguists?) implemented it(especially in regard to grammar and al.)
