Good rank on many countries google, but not for the .com

hi

my competitive english keyword is recently jumped on 1st/2nd page in google nl / be / ca / de / com.au / com.mx etc. but is not ranking well in the only one i care: the .com

what do you think ?

This is what you should try:

google webmaster tools > Site configuration > Settings > Geographic target > Target users in the US...

you should also check your backlink soruces.

for example if most of your backlinks are from high PR .nl,de,it etc.. (europian websites) it could also be the reason, try to add some massive .com and EDU backlinks it can also help.

Thank you, it was ok already,

lately i have traffic also from 1st page of

.com.sa
.ch
.de
.com.sg

but not from the .com

the domain has less than 1 year,
is this a kind of sandbox maybe ?

Just curious, is the trick above enough to rank for the country you want or there are other things as well?

Also depends on the content and keywords, and how diverse both of those are.

What kind of content do you have on your site? Images, videos, blog, articles, etc??

I prefer to not unveil my website, anyway it's movie related.

BTW if you want to help.. i've opened a leadbolt ticket on march 25th, but no solution has been provided yet ( JCN-293206 )
