Hi,so I have tried searching on here, but I cant seem to find any other threads about this. So basically I am just wondering what you guys think are some good marketing books? I'm not talking about ones that are just about SEO, but just anything to do about marketing and any different topics.

Thanks for any ideas

I've been reading the "Ultimate Guide for Google Adwords" and despite its title it's a good overall read. The book usually highlights Claude's Hopkins "Scientific Advertising" which seems to be the grandpa of the advertising books. I don't have read it yet but I'm planning to do it soon.

I will take a look to this thread from time to time, it seems relevant to my interest

Regards.

Hey thanks for the suggestions, I will definitely check them both out

Check out Ca$hvertising. There is some timeless advice about copywriting in that book.

some early j.lant books ("cash copy", "no more cold calls", etc.) are quite good. unfortunately he went off the deep end when the internet came online.

One of the best ones in grad school was by a prof at Northwestern Univ I can look it up tonight..I still go back to it at times...

I would also suggest reading a book Landing Page Optimization by Tim Ash. There is a second edition available, I have read the first one so I don't know about the updated one. Anyways... even though the book is about landing pages it surely helps as it provides some good ideas that can be implemented in marketing businesses or products.
