Good or bad niche?

Hi everyone,

I decided to create my first niche site a few weeks ago. I created wordpress blog with good, quality content and right now I do linkbuilding. But I have doubt about my keyword. I made research with Long Tail Pro and I thought that my KW is the gold-mine. After 3-4 weeks I am not even in top100 but it is no problem. On first page of Google results there are really poor optimized websites with not much links. But there are only e-commerce like bestbuycom, wallmartcom, amazon or ebay. Today I just read that it is hard to rank website if on the first page are only e-commerce sites. These e-commerce websites has no even full keyword in title so I thought it should be easy but it seems to be different.

I attached LTP analyze. Should I fight for this niche or not? What do you think?

SEO require time, try to get traffic from other sources now...
Use google keyword planner to see if people are interested by your niche...

Try social signals, get some good quality guest posts?

It takes time. Patience is the key. Wait atleast a month and you should show up in the rankings hopefully.

it's hard to beat the e-commerce sites, but still has little chance, maybe you should change to a new SEO plan.

I agree. E-Commerce will always win in the end because of convenience.

You'll need some high quality PBN links to outrank e-commerce site. They have authority in Google eye (see the sites age) so I don't think social signals & web 2.0s is enough to really push your site to the top.

If it worth your money (good searches per month & monetization method), you should give it a go. Otherwise, maybe you can think of other kws.

Bucking that much domain authority (due to the age) is going to be very tough.

Unless this is a buying term for a high ticket item, I would condemn it to the test bed and try again.

I am new in the IM so I think that could be too hard for me. I wanted to try with easy KW so maybe I wil do research and find a new keyword but in the same niche. What do you think?

Quality research should give the only right results. If you would change your strategy every week, do you think you would have any results? That's not the problem of choise. You need to work hard here to reach your competitors. And you need to spend a lot of time for that if your niche has strong competitors.
