Good ideas for photography membership site?

I am building a site for a friend who is a photographer. The site will be split into two parts. The photographers personal photos and another part that will be of events. The events part will be members only , I would like to install a quick and easy signup process, any recommendations? even if its a standard long registration...

What are you using to build the site? There is a plugin for Wordpress called Membership the gives you membership functionality. If not WP, google is your friend.

I heard joomla is good for that but i may go with wordpress just because the person I'm doing it for is already familiar with WP and he can update it simply with regular posts I'm not too sure about the ease of updating joomla

are you able to integrate the plugin with FB linking? like they have option to sign in through FB? and any recommendations on any plugins by any chance?

WP is most likely the easiest way to go. However if it doesn't suit your needs I would outsource a custom portal.

well it looks like i am going with wordpress for now. do you know if this plugin allows FB integration for registration for new members?
