Ok So I have a site at designleaddaddy.com which is a site that list about 1k ads for people looking for web designers. I am still working on the site as you can see but I am going to turn it into a membership site where designers have to pay a monthly fee to be able to contact the job leads. So I wanted to get your thoughts on pricing and if the concept will work.

Personally I don't like the design too much. I am huge on design at the moment, since I changed the design on one of my sites the effect was instant. All of a sudden I was getting people signing up to my list and the bounce rate etc dropped dramatically. I think while you are in the early stages you should make the design much more appealing.

Also get rid of adsense. If you plan to monetize it a different way then don't send your traffic away from your site for a few cents. Just my opinion, hope it helps in some way.

I beleive it would make more sense to secure the lead and sell a webdesign package from any web dev company you choose, as long as commission is attractive.

What you could do directly with interested designers is to sell ad spaces on the site, or broker pay per lead somehow.

The whole idea of membership site doesn't sound sustainable.
