Good Footprint for getting a link you may unaware

Tomorrow is new year i wanted to provide something useful to our fellow Back hatters.
Some of you may already aware of this, but i found this footprint just 3 days before and working fine for me.
The trick is to find out vbulletin forums that are having blog mod installed
So just search in google in the format

"powered by vbulletin" inurl:"blog.php" <your keywords>

go to those sites, register create a blog put some content and make your link with your anchor text.
This type of links have more chances of living than you harvest in forum posts directly, because this blogs are monitored less than forum posts.
I done this on some 20 sites 6 blogs are deleted and still I got 14 blog links live.

@catsoup you are welcome, make sure you are using your relevant keywords to find the blogs, and try to post few lines of original content for more link power.
 
I am going to give this a go, I have been looking for something new to try this year. I will report back if i am having any luck.
 
Thanks, getting new sites off the ground is always hard for those of us without the expensive tools.

You won't be able to auto comment on this type of footprint right?
 
No you won't be able to autocomment like on a wordpress blog. This is a foot print for forums. You will be able to build a profile and put in a backlink to your site.

Sure, just do your homework and look at some example pages. Whats unique about captcha/non captcha sites? Do all captcha sites contain a certain phrase etc etc?

To get you started, heres a footprint to find expression engine sites without captcha:

what's a good footprint to get auto approve blogs? I seem can't get as many.
 
Guys theres no bot for automating this, if you want contact a member at BHW who can do this for you.
I just said it as forum foot print and never disclosed that a bot can automate this.
You have to do this manually.
