Good file binder for windows

Hey guys,

been doing ppi for a few days with luxecash and its goin well. What im after is a good self extracting archive maker/binder for windows. Iexpress is good but:

1. you cant change the icon of the file, some people prolly get suspicious of the standrad one
2. you cant change the file details (i.e it always says "win32 cabinet extractor")

Do you guys know of any decent ones out there?

yea, those are the only downfalls of iexpress.

i would be interested if someone can find a better one as well.

fyi - you will have to turn off your real time virus protection to unzip the file.
The program is not infected... a very old hackers tool

Use the binder button - add your files - then click change icon and pick the real file and it will use its icon.

I downloaded that program and it did indeed report it as a trojan, I couldnt find much out about it apart from that it is a trojan maker and can create custom built trojans, im sure its legit but I didnt fancy running it.

Anyway I found the perfect program I was after, and its free!

clicky click

open the .exe using reshacker and at the bottom is the file version info, change this to what you want and click "compile script" and then save for the file.

You can also replace the icon! iexpress creates a 32 x 32bit icon @ 16 colours so your new icon must be the same as this or it wont work.

reshacker is also commandline scriptable it would seem, guess this 1 goes into my bundling scripts shortly

Like I said over at p-p-i.com, reshacker is AMAZING. I made a new icon from scratch and completely changed the cabinet file iexpress gave me into something hella-solid looking.

Highly recommend!

Your luck I have not evn been accepted into the program
Was asked questions to what do when join then no further reply.
Not many other good alternatives really bit sad about that as can make good money yes???
