Good example of satellite sites

Dear Community, right now one of our main projects is heavily punished by Google's "animals" algorithms and we are looking for a ways to get traffic. We already made a lot of changes to our site and we are still working on it. But we simply can't wait when Google will change their mind. So we decided to try using satellite small sites to get traffic on specific keywords. Can anyone suggest any example of good satellite site? I just want to check how it should look like and how many content is needed. Will really appreciate any advice.
