Good ebook writing course - recommendation

I hope this is the right section of the forum to ask this question. I browsed and searched forum and google but couldn't find what I am looking for.

I need a recommendation for the eBook writing course. Main interests are about technical advice, like how the book should be formatted, what other information to include, like disclaimers and other legal stuff. I am also interested in explanation on how to divide core text to chapters and other guidelines to make a eBook more readable. Also, ways to ensure compatibility with different eBook formats, and so on...

Way to publish an eBook and how to do it properly would also be welcomed. If it happens so that you have a link to a "free" share resource of such, even the better

Why not copy from your competitors? And improve on their mistakes? That's what I would do. That's what I do.

Yes, I am not going to reinvent the wheel with this for sure. However, I would like to also avoid coping their mistakes along the way. What I plan to publish will hopefully have lasting value ( nowhere close to weight lose or MMO latest hype ).

However, since it is my (ours to be exact) first eBook, I am on the lookout for a course or comprehensive tutorial to ensure we will do this first publishing effort the right way.

There are many courses available. However, I would suggest is to go through couple of youtube videos, understand your requirements and then, you should find the courses which focus on your weaknesses

Thanks for the advice. Always good stuff to find on youtube. However, the reason I am looking for material in the form of a course is because of it completeness We are doing this for the first time, and I am kind of worried that I will completely miss on something.

I would also welcome a recommendation on the name of the person who is a proven authority in the business of eBook writing and publishing. I could continue to dig through information further, but sorting out who is credible and who is not is a bit too much for me at the moment, with so many other obligations. I am sure there are people here who are well familiar with this topic.

Some people would just hire someone to write the eBook in fiverr.

My partner is already a professional in the field, so that is not necessary. However, we could really use some pointers towards the course, comprehensive tutorial/guide or name of the person/s who are established authority in the field of eBook writing. As explained in the first post, mostly related to the technical aspects of writing the eBook and strategies of publishing, like how to choose publishing platform, how to negotiate price and percentages for selling. Stuff like that.
