Hey, I've used a couple different Dedicated server providers.
What are you planning on using the Dedicated Server for? That will play a big part in finding the right provider.
Did you plan on using for Hosting Websites?
Did you plan on using it as a Virtual Computer to run programs and do tasks? Or did you plan on using it to host tracking or something along those lines?
Do you need offshore hosting if what you are doing is Blackhat, or is it Legit and you just want really the best service?
Also what is your budget? With dedi-servers, in a way you get what you pay for. You can find cheap servers that are $30+ under what others are selling for, but alot of the times, you end up being unhappy. Also another thing is, just because a server is $50+ more then another provider for the same stats, doesn't necessarily mean its better. I find that when looking for a provider, support is just as important as quality or the actual server. Its really easy to mess things up, and if you don't have good support, it can give you a headache.
I've used several providers in the marketplace here.... Hostamus, Hoststage and Powerup Hosting were all good from my experience.
If you need offshore, sharkservers from here has been working good for me. Also alibabahost and shinjuri are good offshore not from this forum.
If you are looking for a bigger company then I can recommend Beyond Hosting, I've used them to host tracking software and its worked great. They are on the pricer side though.
If you are looking for big stats for cheap, I've used and had good experience with Lankapartner host and datasoft.
I've also used both Godaddy and Namecheap Dedis and both worked great. However I would only recommend them if you are doing whitehat niches or websites. You won't get alot of the problems with the big brands that you will the smaller because they are built to handle traffic spikes, ddos and have a huge staff that can assist you around the clock.
Whatever you do go with, make sure you get a SSD harddrive. They cost more then regular harddrives, but if you are looking for quality, then you have no other choice then getting an SSD harddrive.
Let us know what you need the server for. As for any other hosting companies, I'm sure there are tons of other great ones, but the ones I listed above I have used and had a positive experience with.
