Good content but not enough exposure

I have this very niche account & it’s had it’s up and downs. Recently it’s been going on a decline of followers and engagement (over the last few months). I lose more followers then I do gain. However, I have massively improved the quality of my content & surprised it is not receiving more attention. Especially when I compare it to the other accounts in my niche.

for example - I uploaded a video last night and it only got 900 views when I’m an account with 17k followers. However, I got 80 comments from the follows I do have expressing how cool the video is and even one guy saying it deserves more credit. I put hashtags in the comments but it only got 2 views from hashtags.

how the hell do I fix my account because I feel it should be receiving more exposure and attention from the content I’m bringing out. I’m a little worried iv damaged it by using bots and fake likes etc In the past but I haven’t done for months & I have a product which is good shit but it’s like instagram is ruin my chance to getting it seen more.

I will suggest keep pushing it and adding more unique videos. It will be huge after some time when you look before
For example you upload 1 video everyday. After 30 days your first video still be getting some views and it will keep on adding on recurring basis

Okay sweet thank you for the feedback. I’m looking for someone who can actually help me out a bit and provide advice on my page for a little fee - wondered if you knew anyone?

I'm currently working on doing daily posts as well and trying to expand my reach. Recently had a lot of really good hashtag performance. PM me if you want to discuss more. Always down to talk about IG strategy.

Consistency is key! Just keep pushing out high quality content and you'll more than likely see growth again.

I've seen accounts have a few months of follower / engagement decline followed by a sudden increase in both with no real changes made, just daily posts... Keep at it

Consistency and interaction.. The former is completely in your control, the latter you are partially in control of.

I would recommend looking into the hashtags and popular pages within your niche, and personally reach out to posts within that hashtag/followers of that popular page. This could be done manually, or in the spirit of blackhat - Look for a bot. Not recommending one way or the other, assess the risk and go from there.

It might be that most of your audience are offline when you made the post!

And also you're sure the followers are real? you didn't buy the followers or the account?

Because if you've managed to build genuine 17k followers, you shouldn't face such a low exposure.

i create my own content so it’s not reposts or anything! Also, what’s the deal with story views. I only get around 200-400 views - 600 at max. I use to get around 2000 views when I had about 14,000 followers now I get hardly any. I put a story up like 4 hours ago and it got 90 views!?

I started using the account for a different reason back in 2018. So around 3000 of my follower already on that account we’re not originally following me. Then I got to about 14,000 followers which are real. So that’s 11,000 real followers. From there I did do follow / unfollow method and I think around 1000 fake follows. But majority of my following should be real. I don’t understand why I’m not growing and seeing hardly any views on stories and shit.

this guy last year started spamming my account with fake comment bots and I couldn’t stop him - he had this sort of thing which literally spammed my images with likes and comments and I had to keep switching my account to private. He said it would get my account flagged so it would be hard to grow. And I’m now worried what he was trying to do did actually work...

it would be too hard starting from scratch because idk? It’s taken me so long to get to 17k and my insta page is like my personality / art page. It’s similar to a virtual influencer like lil Miquela

Try using story voter! It will help bring back some engagement
