Basically i am looking for a temporary setting ( a few months). I will be working(no-lifing) most of the time on online things so internet connection is required obviously, but if the nature is nice it would be a bonus, few hours per day for walking/working out and relaxation.

Any suggestions as to where? What's a good place for digital nomads? I'm looking for something cheap though, life quality is not a priority(as long as it's safe).

I have no idea, the only place that comes to mind is Cyprus, but i've no clue what it's like.

Looking for suggestions, would be very nice if you know approximate cost of living too.

I would go to Thailand / anywhere in Asia really! Very cheap living / nice lifestyle.

I’ve heard Estonia, and Thailand are a good place for people like you

The Philippines is usually one of the top answers in these threads always.

If Cyprus is the only place that comes to mind, I think you are not ready to move to a low cost Asian country though. I guess you are from Europe? Cyprus isn't a place we online would refer to as "cheap." It's really much more expensive than most of the world.

Make sure to do lots of research on local customs, what amount of people speak English (or another language if English isn't your main speaking language), how to stay out of trouble, what the safest areas are and the least safe for people of your skin color.

definitely Russia. Lots of Nature, one of the fastest internet connection, cheap living. perfect place from april till october, but cyprus is good as well

Do you have experience living in Russia as a person who doesn't speak Russian and maybe isn't white?

It's normal for white people to go to live in Philippines for example, but for sure it isn't normal for an Asian to move to Russia.

My view of Russia is of course influenced by the media, but I wouldn't feel safe there as a non-Russian speaking person.

Russia has extremely nationalistic views, and one of the lowest English speaking populations in the world.

Mexico. Puerto Vallarta, Roma Norte are really nice

South east asia, eastern europe and south america in that order

I left from NY , and moved to Jacksonville FL , because someone recommended it to me here on bhw (I am not joking) )

Cuenca Ecuador baby! It is one of the top expat destinations in the world. I live in downtown, and I don't think I will ever live anywhere else. got to do Ecuador!

Nationalistic? we have 180 nationalities living peacefully for 1000's years, at least 10% of them are asian, so no problems. yeah, people lack of english skills, but in the big cities its pretty decent

My votes are for eastern europe or southeast asia. Move to southern Thailand and enjoy your days.

If you like the heat and sunshine, cheap living and good food - SE Asia for sure.

Thailand is popular, just check out the monsoon seasons etc. Internet there is usually very fast and reliable.

Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines are other options.

India is another place that is worth looking at. I know an American guy who did a 12 month trip around India while building websites.

Valencia Spain
Bali, Indonesia
Budapest, Hungary

I loved staying in these 3 and it was fairly cheap
