Good cheap hosting?

I don't suggest this company as they are shady, even if I give myself using them because I kind of like a little shade in the California sun,

Has good prices sometimes, but best of all is they allow blocked country registration, and a slew of other random services you don't see too often anymore.

You can get a VPS from Google Cloud or AWS for free and use WordOps to manage Wordpress. It’s very easy and free for a year.
 
Yeah, they have some other ready made instances for your VM that are definitely worth self hosting
 
OMG people recommending bluehost. *facepalm* They, and all other companies owned by EIG are complete rubbish. Regular outages, horrible support and you fu#king have to pay for 3 years in advance!!!!
Then, they don't care about you, because they know you'll leave after 3 years of misery anyway.

You would have to have rocks in your head to like and recommend bluehost or any other EIG hosting company. Or you are dropping your bluehost affiliate link and trying to bank because they have huge affiliate payouts. That is their business model, pay big affiliate bucks, sucker the customer into paying 3 years in advance, then deliver sub standard product and churn customers.
 
Using namecheap. Uptime is great. Got good results with WP rocket. satisfied for now.

Finally, someone understand this! You are completely right. Who recommends bluehost are people without know-how. Easily influenceable from others.
Another business model is to pay websites with "reviews" to keep them in the top of best reviews, when they are bad.

Also, their unlimited storage is a warning to stay away from them...
