what books can you recommend to read?
The $100 Startup
Losing My Virginity (R. Branson)
The Big Short (M. Lewis)
The Metamorphosis (Kafka)
Btw, you might be interested in http://goodreads.com.
Rich Dad Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki)
my bro is quite a prolific reader and one of the books he was quoting (the grammar of motives, iirc) said something like,
the word 'educate' is based on some latin word which essentially means 'to bring out', so it's not a cramming of facts and knowledge into the brain but the bringing out of what's already there
food for thought
The Millionaire Fastlane
You can catch a lot of fish, or you can catch a BIG fish.
Brave New World (Aldous Huxley)
Physics of the Impossible (Michio Kaku)
The Forever War (Joe Haldeman)
I haven't read it yet but I'm about to start the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov, I hear nothing but praise for it.
These are also on my list of books to read:
-4 Hour Work Week (Timothy Ferriss)
-Dune (Frank Herbert)
Today I bought The everything store: Jeff Bezos and the age of Amazon and Hatching Twitter: A True Story of Money, Power, Friendship and Betrayal.
Cannot wait to start read these!
@OP: What genre do you typically enjoy reading? Fiction or non-fiction? What do you want to be reading about? ;-)
Isn't there a good suggestion engine for this sort've thing too? Good Reads or something?
Tell me how you like this one. I really want to read it.
I love non fiction. I'm not a fan of fiction.
You should try Shogun, The Man Who Would Be King, and A song of Ice and Fire, and if you like science fiction, Flow My Tears the Policeman Said and The Alien Way.
Sometimes, you get to visit a wonderful place when reading.
The Far Side is a really good and quick read.
when i read this thread, i thought to my self best book is Rich Dad Poor Dad
you are right its perfect book, i recommend it too
Anything by Sherylon Kenyon (If you don't mind Mythology)
Games of Thrones Series
Chemical Garden series....these books are a little gory or trippy though
I have done about 3/4 of the book and it's amazing! I would love to see this story transformed in a movie!
