First define your niche and then search simple as that.
Example: "Fashion" blogs.

For SEO i think seomoz and seobook are really cool. you can get the latest update form them.
I would suggest to read the forums regularly.

Usually i used to read blogs like search engine round table, seo news, Matt cut's forum, webmaketzing site etc. if go through these site or blogs, we get more information.

I know an amazing porn blog that uploads 100 photos each day on tumblr. I also know a really good hacking blog. Although the hacking blog is actually a few niches in one, it's hacking.social engineering,coding, and black hat methods.

I will suggest some point check this
Go to Technorati's Blog Finder and search by author-submitted tag regarding entire blogs as opposed to individual posts
Search like Top Ten Sources or results.
Icerocket is another blog search engine.
You can also search in h**p://delicious.com/tag/library2.0+blog
