Use a tool like Ahrefs or Semrush to see if the site actually gets real visitors from Google. If the site's traffic is dead or dropping to zero, the link is useless.

First I analyze the site's relevancy and then their real traffic and backlinks. I further consider if these are editorial links or not and if the site has a clean past or not because DR alone is not the deciding factor here.

before buying a link id check if the site is relevant to my niche and whether its pages are actually getting crawled and indexed high metrics alone arent enough for me.

I completely ignore DR/DA, they're effortless to fake. I only check if the site has real, steady organic traffic in Ahrefs, fits my niche naturally, and doesn't link out to casino or spam sites. If Google is actively indexing their recent posts, it's a green light.

Look at the website's traffic and overall quality. A site with real visitors is usually safer than one created only to sell links.

Honestly, I do not get too impressed by DA alone anymore. If the site has no real traffic or audience, I usually skip it.
