Hi, I'm bidding on a good domain with around 200 refering domains, clean backlink profile, indexed, GOOD DA/PA, GOOD TF...but it has Fake PR, some sites say is a valid PR 7, others that is FAKE, I think 7 is a lot, so it's fake for sure, but for the quality of its backlinks is a PR4 or PR5 for me.

Should I buy it? I think what matters is the quality of backlinks and it doesn't matter if it has Fake PR because it has the power of the backlinks. Am I correct?

PR does not matter. It has not been updated publicly in a year now.

You do want to check and make sure that those backlinks actually exist though. What Majestic or Ahrefs say compared to what actually exists anymore is often times quite a bit different.

If you have a fake PR, mostly the domain is worth nothing as it's spammy or artificial link building to boost PR.

If you have clean history, no spam in anchors, good backlinks and you are sure, the back links really exist, than it's worth ...

    Cheers

As long as it hasn't been penalised, go for it. PR checking tools will most likely be inaccurate these days since PR is no longer being updated.

There is a difference between fake PR and invalid PR, in my opinion. When I think of fake PR, I think of someone trying to artificially inflate the toolbar PR for the purpose of selling a domain at a profit using either 301 redirects, links they control (and will point to their next domain after you buy this one), or a combination of the two.

Invalid PR just means that the links you can see and analyze do not add up to what the toolbar PR is telling you. Invalid is okay. If you see something that says a PR 7, but looks more like a PR 3 or 4, that is still okay, assuming you are not paying a PR 7 price for it.

What you want to stay away from is people creating an inflated PR to try to scam you.

Today, PR doesn't really matter much since it is so out of date, but the same principal applies to DA, TF, or any other metric you are using to evaluate domains.

That's the people who cares two much about PR instead other things such as backlinks or traffic.
