    Notepad++ for source code editing & Kompozer for WYSIWYG editing. I would recommend getting Dreamweaver if you're serious about starting to build sites.

    There is a programming section of the forum. (This is in the scripting) I suggest that if you program, Visual Basic is a good way to do so.
