goMobi the only reliable mobile option???

I am looking for a good looking reliable mobile website solution I can offer my clients.

I have gone thru EVERY template here on BHW and NONE of them work properly.

At one point I hought I found one with http://mobisitepro.com/ (buggy as hell

)

There have been numerous ambitious threads started by several members here, but it appears they haven't followed thru.

Seems like the only good (reliable) solution(s) for a reliable mobile template is thru a 3rd party site like goMobi?

Any good recommendations?

I have been using WIX for my basic sites and just downloaded Sitespinner Pro which looks really cool and fairly easy to use. Check them out if you'd like.........i'd be interested to hear what you think.

Yes I believe gomobi to be the best, safest bet ... Works great as as base for back end sales ....

For you guys.... I'll set you up a go mobi site as a subdomain that you can control and manage for your client for $24 per/year ... subdomain works just fine because you'll put the detect code in the primary website header that will auto direct to the mobile website .... Your client doesn't need to promo a separate .... new mobile site. Will work just fine for QR codes, too. The DNS service is kick --- ( Can I say --- here? ...no) (or you can transfer your domain name to my OpenSRS "Business Center" account and sell go mobi sites as subdomains of your own domain name)

I"ve been kicking the tires around on several mobile site makers, but haven't found one I am in love with yet. Checked out gomobi since you made that offer. They didn't offer a lot of information on what set up costs or monthly costs if I used them. Can you pm me about what you offered so I can get in touch with you to get a few questions answered and possibly take you up on that offer?

I think you misunderstood my post. I'm actually not offering anything.

In fact, I am trying to fine tune (establish...) my mobile system/method that I will eventually offer online once I've secured and tested everything.

What exactly are you intending to do? Is this for your personal site/biz or is this something you intend to offer to clients?

Actually my post was for Webman as well. Sorry if I misquoted earlier by accident.

There are tons of options but most people on BHW are on the low end/entry level for mobile.

There are 2 kinds of mobile CMS

A.CMS built from the ground up with mobile in mind(used to develop mobile sites)

B.Regular CMS with mobile modules(these tend to produce a mobile version of a desktop site)

Both present challenges for integration/functionality.

What you would be looking for on the high end is usablenet.com or www.onesite.com

There are very few people who would require the high end CMS platforms that do analytics, social tracking, engagement etc.

Yes...These are the types of companies that we would hope to become...but not someone we could "white label". Or even sell to the small business man. Very informative though.
