Maybe investors moved to bitcoin?
Glad I didn't listen to Glenn Beck and the DA from Law & Order when they told me to buy gold coins.
Haha. Glenn Beck was pushing gold because he had a big stake in gold companies.![]()
Just going to give my opinion here:
Gold/silver will always be worth a good amount. If you look at it, it scales with currency. As we print more and more money, the price of Gold/silver will increase along with it and remain constant. There is a limited amount of Gold and silver in the world. As far as I can see, this recent price drop is just manipulation by the government.
Before every crash the gold price has drooped.
I can't buy physical gold at the current price. But I can sell it at this low price
Buy gold bars not coins, they are cheaper.

If any of you guys know anything about technical analysis, that chart is a SCREAMING sell, at least until a confirmed uptrend has taken place. Also, not to mock anyone, but when forums are full of new blood speculators talking about what a great buy gold is on the latest correction, the party is over. 9% distribution days are indicative of a weak market. Sure price might rise a bit, then the institutions will unload more and more into the gullible public who are thinking they are getting a great price for the long gravy train ahead. If price rebounds pass the initial drop point on huge volume, by all means buy... the rally still has legs, but if price stays stagnant or just slightly higher, get the fuck out or at least start reducing your positions to keep profits and minimize losses. Nobody ever lost money taking profits!
Full disclosure... I have no positions in gold, but I've traded and followed the markets for a long time. That chart with a huge down panic selling day is indicative of an imminent price collapse. Proceed with caution.
