[GOLD MINE] Use anyones content without copyright

So I stumbled across topbuzz today, read their terms of service, it appears you can literally steal articles other users post on topbuzz and use them for your blog, as the users hand over all rights to topbuzz and other users. please see terms of service below.

"You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. However, by submitting content to us, you hereby grant us an unconditional, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully transferable, assignable, sub-licensable, perpetual worldwide license to use, modify, translate, adapt, reproduce, make derivative works of, publish and/or transmit your User Content in connection with the Services and Bytedance’s (and Bytedance’s successors’ and affiliates’) business, including but not limited to advertising, marketing and promoting and redistributing part or all of the Services (and derivative works thereof) in any formats and through any channels. You also hereby grant other users of the Services a non-exclusive license to access your User Content through the Services, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such User Content as permitted through the functionality of the Services and under these Terms of Service."

You may thank me now. Free content for all bloggers, and quality content.

Never heard of it, but even you can use these contents, can you rank them? I doubt that...

And if you take this routine, why not spin others content instead of this...

Great so you get free already indexed duplicate content. And what was the plan for that?
Seems easy but once indexed it's pretty useless unless you just need content for social media traffic to your site etc.
 
This is like saying "Oh guys I just discovered spinning content and it does wonders just read about it"
 
So easy, why would people still submit?

cuz content is all spinning tops too :P

Read terms on other sites where isers submit content, you'll be floored, then you'll realize What those terms mean.

Sure. Google doesn't "penalize" content copied from another site, they will penalize pages and pages of duplicate content on your site, but if I control-C/control-V another sites content, then go to another site and C/V a post, then on to another, Google will give NO penalty. People that say that are spouting unfounded nonsense. I have a site with many C/V pages, some even rank above the original site! What?!?! Yup. But how? Because Google wants to rank "the best" content, make your site more authoritative than where you pilfer from, and you'll be golden. People that claim that it happened to them, actually C/V from Forbes/time/Wikipedia then bitch that their article doesn't rank equal to the source, on their new-to-them dropped spam domain...gee, I'm shocked.

I'll admit the smartalec in me REALLY wanted to respond: T H A T but figured I would be nice. Lol
 
the user side of the agreement is not irrevocable and does say "as permitted through the functionality of the Services and under these Terms of Service.", which generally means it has to be in the function of the site. stealing the content for your own site doesn't really fall under that. as with anything, this is just one interpretation of it, but if it were to go into the courts doubt you'd get away with it
 
Free content is always useless as lots of others would already be using the same.

But is it like you are giving credit to the original source or something?

Are you doing this copy and paste stuff in difficult to rank keywords or what?
 
although pretty sure google does not penalize duplicate content, as half the internet is duplicate
i'd still rather not spam my site with duplicate content.

Sorry guys I forgot the main part lol my bad, this is intended for people using facebook + blogging method, basically those who dont need to rank in google and need quality content
 
Who cares about copyright anyway? All you have to care about is duplicate content that will penalise your domain.

Thanks for the confirmation. I published my blog page content on a doc sharing with higher autority and my page was deindexed by the doc sharing page. I removed the doc and my blog page was reindex the following day. Your explanation give a lot of sens to what happened to me.
