Instead of solely trying to promote positive information and push down negative information, I am going a supplemental method.
Many clients have negative images/news articles. The problem is that a typical Googler will gravitate toward the negative content and avoid clicking the positive.

So I am going to create web content of negative content. Some of it will be click bait such as "BEWARE of John Smith MUST READ"...
The negative content will be a spun story and actually read much better than the actual negative content.

My goal is that the negative content that I create will satisfy the Googler's curiosity and eventually assist in pushing down the original negative content.

Yeah, I highly suggest not doing this. I understand your theory behind this, but you are assuming that all people who search for the person's name will take the time to read your clickbait article, and such is not the case. In reality, most people searching for your client will see the negative headline and have all the information they need to form their opinions from that.

    Really interesting.
Maybe you can make the fake customer writing the bad review seem like an unreasonable asshole
    like:
"I told them to lick my feet but they politely declined! What kind of service is this???"

So potential buyers will disregard most customers leaving a bad review as unreasonable

    idk just my 2 cents

Please do not go down this path.

If you want to do something that is clickbait, try hero stories. Stuff that hits you in the "feels." Stuff that can be featured on wimp.com lol... Doesn't even have to be relevant to owner's business, but just a reference of how "powerful" and "important" this person is, to waste their time on doing something out of the ordinary.

"Watch the CEO of Best Buy stops all traffic, to rescue kitten from washing down storm drain during torrential downpour." (youtube link)

Turn your client into a photographer if it's an individual. Grab [firstname][lastname]photo.com and add a Wordpress portfolio theme. Rip a few albums of 15-20 pictures each, then batch resize, recolor, flip, zoom, etc to make them original. Upload them, link to an Instagram with the pictures as well, order 50 expired articles on photography from @littlewebdragon, schedule them out on a blog subpage of the photo site one every two days for three months or so, including a small paragraph at the beginning of each article about your client. Make About, Contact, Privacy Policy, and TOS pages. Link to the Instagram in the nav bar. Pimp out the meta information. Set up SSL. Run the site through GWT once it's set up properly (http://, http://, https://www., and http://www. versions). Watch and wait as it climbs the ranks with the Instagram profile in tow.

I take this one step further. Real domain, real social media accounts, real photos.

If everything is legit, it's much easier to rank. The days of low quality spam are getting further in the rear view mirror every day.

For one of my clients in Houston a couple years back, I found an amateur photographer in that area, and paid them $500 for 500 of their secondhand images. That worked out very well.

I have literally stolen the idea but haven't found a lot of great pictures of people. Everyone will sell you nature/landscape pictures, but I need people!

Need photos of people? Can you offer a little more into what specifically you're looking for? As an example, events (either indoor or outdoor) with a background of people and the subject of the photo is the actual event.

The tricky part of photography and people is people must sign a model release or the photographer cannot use that image for any online/marketing purposes.

For my purposes it doesn't really matter. The photographers that I've bought from, I told them they needed to have a model release for anyone who was recognizable. I just need pictures of people that aren't all over stock photo sites.

For that I just take the stock photo images, flip them horizontal, resize, crop a little, change the file name and alt, make them black and white and compress.

So in other words generic Street Photography of people in public places. I could easily assist with this. Las Vegas would be the most ideal place, in my opinion.

-edit to add, the focus can be changed to slightly blur out faces from being recognizable but still overall check the box that is "pictures of people"

I do the exact same thing! I have an Automator action set up so I can batch change name, flip and crop.
