So I have always marketed other peoples stuff. So I am going to set out and put my first product up on Click Bank for others to sell.

Really looking to see what comes of it.

Once the site is approved I will post the link here.

The first one is on video marketing.

I am a young blood when it comes to the affiliate marketing. I deal more with SEO on real companies. SO setting this site up is a big learning curve.

Sorry Brady, was mixing you up with someone else.

I just listed my first product with Clickbank last week and was surpised at how many affiliates started promoting it. Traffic on a new site jumped to a couple of hundred visitors a day, so I looked to see where they were coming from. turns out it's all affiliate traffic, have 30 affiliates driving traffic to it already. Not sure what I expected but thought I'd have to go looking for them and convince them to promote it for me.

Good luck with the launch!

Thanks man.

If I do 10 to 20 sales the first week I will be happy then I can grow it from there.

I will have a second site that I will be turning in about mid part of the week to get approved.

Haha, thats funny once I saw how many people were pushing it that's the first thing I was thinking too, "I need another one!!!" LOL

Submitting it on Monday if I can get everything setup by then. (they don't like changes being made so make sure it's good to go)

I had to make several changes for the first one.

- take out the picture of the IPhone (trademark)
- add canspam message in the ebook
- remove any mention of automating facebook (against fb terms of service)

Took three tries to get it in. (you'd think they'd just tell me all 3 at once, but nope!)

Thanks for the info. I will make sure that I have it all set before I turn them in.

So you just submitted your product to clickbank and you got affiliates promoting your product just by finding it in the marketplace? Are you doing any other means to promote your product to affiliates like posting your product launch on forums or asking website owners to promote your product for you?

I'd like to know this as well since I'm getting ready to release my own CB product

I'd be curious to know how you tagged it (if at all) so the CB affiliates could find it. I had good success with an eBook on there in 2004-2005, and have been thinking about doing another one but am wondering how much the processes have changed.

When you're done with the launch you should totally do a program on how to do a Clickbank product-- I would buy that!

I have a few CB products that are years old, havent done a thing in a long time and still get payments :)

Really after going threw the process it wasn't all that bad. Just something new to me on setting something up as a vendor.

I have always done seo for customers so I figured it was about time to get into affiliate marketing for myself.

So I have the first site submitted just needing approval then I will submit my second site.
