Hey all, idk if you guys notice this little but crucial thing: if you are browsing fb, twitter etc. in mobile app (i always do from my phone browser so didn’t really notice it up to now) and click on a link to an external website it will open in this shitty twitter, fb etc. in app browser. Now ik social media users can usually disable it in settings but who does that? (The freakin power of defaults :( ) My question is can a webmaster, social media poster etc. do something about it so that when they click on my link it opens in proper browser? I try to search for this around the web but I’m afraid the answer seems to be no since it’s their platforms they make the rules... But if you guys have creative ideas on circumventing this shit please let me and the forum know ;)

You may ask why is this a big deal? Well i just learned today how much control those shitty in app browsers have... One u don’t have tabs (changes whole UX and web interaction in my opinion) second they block certain stuff that works in regular browsers (not only js even freakin html even if it passes W3C validation standards! They don’t give a shit about web standards they make their own) just another little brick to the wall social media is building around the internet :(
