Godday just stole 50 Dollars from me , like that , for : "We recently received an inquiry related to your domain name, . The specific inquiry related to your domain name can be described as follows:
We have received notification that a legal complaint on the domain name(s) has been filed through the World Intellectual Property Organization, xPlease contact x with any questions
we have charged your credit card in the amount of $50.00 for our processing of this inquiry.

So , I have a paypal account with funds , and they decided to screw me over 50 dollars , taking advantage of a recurring payment they had for some domains i bought a month ago.Do you think i'll see that money back or can I kiss it goodbye?Also , someone is Copyright trolling me for some domain , which has a totally original website without any copied content they even took my facebook page downI've been receiving some emails this past few days , i contacted goddady about it they said they had no notice of any dispute and that the couldn't help me.WTF is this all about ?

also it's a fucking website about furniture , is not like i was using facebook google or any other corporation name.

Wow that sucks. The content might be fine but is there a trademarked word in the domain name? Fuck Godaddy.

How many times do people have to get screwed by GoDaddy to stay away from it?

It's an ongoing rant on how much they suck. I'm sorry but that's how they deal with customers.

Just move to Namecheap and never look back.

It contains words , but they are essential words is like if i was to register let's say chickenricewithsauce and they dispute the domain for having "chickenrice" in it . it's fucking absurd.

Well , it seems that goddady is full of shit , Paypal just gave me my money back
 
This is why I make sure to login to paypal and cancel the billing agreement if for whatever reason I used GD. You can try a chargeback, but the problem is, GD holds your domain hostage in most cases (ie. no transfer out), so you'd most likely end losing it.
 
I've called them about this before. I think the issue with that the $50 was actually for domains by proxy or whatever for some issue with them. It's not something you'll get back. Make sure your domains by proxy has correct contact information for you in the future. This could have been the cause of your problem.
 
Uggh, Godaddy and their BS. I second namecheap, never any problems there.
 
Getting screwed by GDADDY isn't anything new, I only needed to register one domain to get the jist of cr*p they have :/ I urge you to file a dispute with your cc/bank.
 
It was also found that godaddy took away the domains of their customers and the people who used their search.
So, I think right now, its best to move on to namecheap before it gets too late....
 
What was the exact domain if you don't mind sharing? If they get a legitimate complaint from a trademarked company then they have the right to seize the domain.
