I recently bought some domains worth 60$

And godaddy suspended my account and asking for verification .

I submitted my Master Card scanned copy 25 hours ago and still no reply .

My domains are in danger :D

Any ideas ?

They will ask photo of some government ID.
I submitted it and got verified in less than 24 hrs.

i havent had any issues with godaddy and have over 30 domains with them now with varying tld's

Even I had the same issue.. by the time they verified my details they banned my auctions account and I cant use it anymore. When I told them about this problem they said, they cant get me back the auctions account. So please be careful mates..

Same issue a while back when I was using multiple payment sources. Sent them the info then called in to verify they got it. Was resolved within an hour or two.

Good luck.

Godaddy didn't ask for my ID. But Hostgator did. So does that mean Hostgator sucks? :D

I meant sucks because, It approved my ids after banning my auctions account.

Account activated now , after 30 + hours .
Between the last purchased domain which i bought from auction is not showing in my domains management page
Any idea ?

It might take a few days to show up as they give the original owner the chance to buy it back, I think.
in your domains account it should show the domain you bought and when it will be released to you.

I use godaddy for 2 years and never have big problems. Only little bit unhappy with slow loading site, to many ads, and complex information (i just think godaddy make it unclear for me).

Now I started using namecheap, it's light, easy navigation and giving .org for free.

Why do people even bother with GoDaddy? Use a professional domain provider.

They're talking about domains here and not hosting. I can't speak for Godaddy's web hosting service quality but I've heard it's not the top quality.

I've been using namecheap for about 4 years now with no problems at all. (so far)

Enjoy ..... :cool2:
