Can't get it to work.. Does anyone know how to do? I have created my sitemap (xml-sitemaps.com/) and added the xml file to google webmaster, but how do I put the sitemap HTML into my site, and how do i get it as a link/page on my site? Godaddy offers "Standard Search Engine Visibility" for ~ 50 $ a year, where "you easily can add a sitemap" but wtf.. Is that the way I have to go?

You will have nothing but trouble with GoDaddy - wish you luck, you're gonna need it.

Thx, I'am starting to loose all my enthusiasm. Having a lot of problem setting up my first site ever, now it's running but still have a lot to deal with, but nothing seems to go my way.

Are you just looking to add a sitemap to your website or what?

If so, then just upload it your public folder with name sitemap.html or whatever format you need it.

Yeah I would like to have a sitemap included in my site somehow, hmm, are you reffering to the site building program? Becouse I don't think there is any "public folder" where you can put files?

i highly recommend not to use the website builder.

The messy source code alone will effect your SEO

Yeah well, I think that is not the easiest way for me to proceed tight now, I just finished a few months of extra time to set up my first site, using godaddys crappy builder. And now everything is starting to get a bit sad. ahhhh

Godaddy SiteBuilder v7 automatically builds a sitemap at [YourDomainName]\sitemap.xml. Looking at this will show you that what they have done; they create a generic sitemap that Google does not appear to understand. Inside the text of this map you will see references to a sitemap.desktop.xml and sitemap.mobile.xml sitemaps. Submit these to your search provider and they will be indexed.

log in to your hosting control panel, upload sietmap file to public/www/root directory.Thats all.
