GoDaddy wants my domain. Anyone had this?

Hi people,

I woke up yesterday to find that someone has bid a hefty sum on one of my domains that I purchased in 2009 on an auction site. It's not a keyword-rich domain but an easily brandable name in various niches. I counter-offered a higher price, and today they've increased the bid to an even better deal.

I'm wondering who I am up against. Is this Godaddy that wants to buy this domain and sell it for a better price or this is a seperate entity who wants this domain specifically?

Sharing any similar experiences would be appreciated.

Probably someone separate. Godaddy has a service where if you want a domain that someone else owns they will try to get it for you by contacting the owner

Don't abuse the price though. You'll lose the customer

you are the lucky one ! Yes its not godaddy someone else is trying to buy it godaddy just manage the sell

If you haven't listed the domain in auction, how can someone bid on that.

Okay, let that aside. If you can afford you sell it, why not contact the buyer directly and ask for an offer?

Either way, I still look for an answer for the 1st line in this post.
