For a small website they will get the job done. And yes, they do provide one-click WordPress installs if that's what you are asking.

Yes..you can host there absolutely fine, but I would recommend getting a shared hosting account at Hostgator. Never sign up with DreamHost though. They are the worst. I have had lot of issue just with 3 Wordpress blogs.

They've been pretty okay. I prefer hostgator for my sites though.

It is good in terms of security and uptime, but godaddy has pathetic customer support. Once you buy your stuffs, they do not care who you are. Secondly, they have a strange mechanism for protecting their servers against hackers. I have a hosting with them and many people could not open my website from their computers. I got it sorted out with some hot arguments but beware.

So your saying HostGator is better? I read so much about host gator but i didnot try them, but go daddy is cheaper .. so i dont know what to do

why host gator instead of GoDaddy?

yes i heard about their costumer support , but as i know i get their domains 24/7 but never tried their hosting...
i really dont know what to say , every one says get HOSTGATOR but i really dont know why
none until now told me why HostGator is better than GoDaddy

I too use HostGator and would go with them over GoDaddy. HostGator does hosting, Godaddy does domains. Grab a shared hostgator account and if your website takes off you can upgrade your hosting as it grows.

Yes HG is obviously better. May be because you never asked about it?

If your plan is about to build an authority website then don't use go-daddy, Try hostgator.
I have a very bad experience with Godaddy hosting in past.

They pretty much have the same benefits that Godaddy provides you, without the negatives. With that, they have a better customer support. Accounts are more manageable too. I just don't seem to understand godaddy's management interface.

In my experience Godaddy hosting is pathetic. They are good for domains but for hosting. Go for Hostgator as many suggested here for a sound clean pro service. Best of luck

For onshore hosting hostgator is probably the best, they are much faster than godaddy.
