Anyone ever experienced Godaddys overage charges ?

Any idea what the charges actually are every 10k extra visits? Nowhere on their site does it give you any clue as to how much extra you get charged.

I used live chat and the girl had no idea what the charges are, which didn't surprise me. She told me to call them.

Also looked online but i cant find anything solid.

Godaddy

"Visitors are the number of unique IP addresses that come to all your plan’s sites within a 24-hour period. Daily counts are added to calculate total monthly visitors. We don’t count robots (e.g., Google search bot) against your total. If you opt in to our Visitor Overage Protection Plan, you’ll be charged a small fee for every 10,000 visitors over your hosting plan, across all sites."

my suggestion is not to host with Godaddy because they are professional in domain registration and they are selling you hosting only as an addon. I mean they are not professional in web hosting. My suggestion is to host your website on some professional web hosting company.

In my experience no good hosting company will charge you for the total amount of visitors. this Visitor Overage Protection Plan is just a stupid thing. you can simply use CloudFlare protection to protect your website from malicious traffic.

You can get an ssd vps server for your project. I will say you try hostyoufast.com they offer fully managed Vps and with good support system.
