Godaddy issues

Hey Guys !

Did any one experience issues with godaddy coupons at the late July 2015? I heard rumors, that they limited the amount of coupons that one account can use. If you have same issue, what you are planning to do with it (paying full price, or another registrar with many coupons. If yes then what registrars you are also using? )

Well... This is not a new issue... This started when a lot of people started making multiple coupon site. (stupid people cant think of their own idea.)...

Until December 2014 Godaddy started limited coupon usage.

Here's What I Do:

Note: These are the common things that everybody does. I am just making it easier.

1. First make a list of all of your godaddy products
2. Divide them by New Products and Renewal. (If you are not buying anything new, Skip this step.)
3. Divide the Renewal Product list into Domain, Hosting, SSL, and whatever else you have. (Do the same if you are buying anything new.) eg. Hosting list, Domain List.
4. Collect all the latest godaddy coupons from all over the internet am make a list.
5. Divide all the coupon list into Domain, Hosting, SSL, and whatever else you have. eg. Hosting coupon list, Domain coupon List, etc.
6. Add all products from the Hosting list to you cart.
7. Try all the coupons from Hosting coupon list one by one.
8. Complete the payment as soon as a coupon works.
9. Do this for all the product list (Domain List and others)
10. Make sure you bookmark all the websites which gave correct codes.

Extra Notes:

1. Some coupon codes may be for other currency than yours and you may not be able to proceed with payments. Just change the currency and try to complete payment with your Ban. (Note: Paypal, Card ant other payment method usually doesn't work. So use your direct bank payment. as per my experience.)

Godaddy is getting too greedy IMO. I recently started transferring my domains over to namecheap. Don't want to keep feeding that monster anymore.

Do you put coupons for every purchase? How much in average you pay for a .com domain ?

I only just started transferring my domains over, because I refused to pay Godaddy prices for renewals. Grant it, GD has some enticing deals for NEW domains, but when it comes to renewals, they screw you.

When I transferred my domain over to namecheap, it was ready to be renewed. If I had renewed it at GD it would have cost me $25 for just one year and private registration. Basically GD charges $14.99 for a basic domain and $9.99 for privacy. At namecheap it only cost me $10 to renew and they gave private registration free for the first year. Transferring my domain was free as well.

I didn't use any coupons, but I still feel like I got a good deal. And when it comes time to renew again, according to namecheap's price list, their basic domains are only $10.69 compared to GD's $14.99 and private registration is only $2.99/yr compared to GD at $9.99. You do the math. It's a no brainer! In the long run, namecheap is cheaper.

GoDaddy is the worse company i have deal with! Many issues (I have already forgot half of them!), forced me to get rid of them...Good luck to everyone that wants to co-operate with them...
