Hey guys, thanks for the advice! Yeah, my paranoia is justified, time to find a different and separate provider. I guess the bottom line is, I would hate to get my business all rolling and set in stone, then have some competitor have my site shut down in minutes just by making a complaint. Not gonna rant about the logistics of that bullsh$t way to operate a business, just gonna switch and move on. But I sure am gonna miss Danica! :tongue2:

I have been using Host Gator because I saw here that GO Daddy was no good. IS host gator any better?

I have never used them.... But I have seen a lot of people on here that have and seem to be happy with their service.

Namecheap is both much cheaper and less evil, there's no reason to use godaddy

Never have your domain and your hosting at one place, because if you get one in trouble the other goes down with it.
I would also say that you get away from godaddy as it sucks even as domain provider. Go with NC or name

I'm new to the black hat community, but I use Ipage to host and register my sites.

I found that they have easier to understand controlpaneland and I can host unlimited domains and unlimited emials. for 3.95 a month.

pweople worse than godaddy is heart internet.

they are both atrocious companies to deal with. totally and uterly rip off merchants and poor poor customer service on every level imaginable

The thing with godaddy is simple, host your site elsewhere.

You can register the site with them, the complaints will go first to your hosting provider I never had problems with my domains using them, no one complained to godaddy and I have done some $$$ lucrative :sasmokin: things.
