GODADDY domains .99 cents

yeah, they offer free domain privacy at 5 now.
i was using cheapname i think, who was nothing more than a reseller
for godaddy, but their hosting (via godaddy of course) was horrible.
but it was easy to set up under a fake name, that is the only reason i went with them to start with. the hosting just plain didnt work.

since gd has privacy now, i just rock out my domains with them now.
im in their premium club so i get domains for 7.xx and .infos for .79cents.

**hint if you just need one domain and dont need privacy or you do need privacy... g**gle - domain
and usually a coupon comes up from godaddy for 6.99 or 7.50
and you can use this with an existing account. i use to do this everytime i bought a .com. and if you add 4 .infos you can come in right about 15 bucks WITH privacy!!

do they waive privacy fees on 5 domains or more?

but I imagine I couldn't combine promos if that was the case

my current host does waive privacy on 5 or more, but unfortunately
they are not having such a great ".99" sale, except
for .info's, but I wish it was for .com's...what a deal that would be!!

no free WHOIS?? if yes then .99 domains are next to useless for me.

if you didnt read pandarians post
they are offering 99 cents AGAIN with coupon code
Fall99

work for existing customers!
just got another few!

lol

I'm pissed off now cause i've just registered 5 domains...

:mad2:

just before I've seen the topic I mean

I just used the coupon for a customers order. Just pocketed an extra $11 bucks! lol. Thanks!

is it possible to create multiple accounts and use vcc's with this?

Created new God*addy a/c and bought 1 dot com for 1.17 using Entr*opay VCC today. :)

coupon code: Fall99

Virtual Visa

P.S.:

I definitely did not use the option to Auto Renew (I used the manual renewal option), but the bill still says Registration: 1 year (recurring). Anyway, my VCC expires before the renewal due date. ;) Godaddy definitely is playing dirty with a forced renewal, but let's see what happens after 1 year... :). Just to let you all know that in my instance, the 'don't renew' (or whatever option was there to this effect) option didn't work.

The bill says:
.COM Domain Name Registration - 1 Year (recurring)
Price: $1.17
(Does that mean that every year I will be able to renew it for the same $1.17? That'd be great!) :)

Can anyone suggest how to disable the auto-renewal feature?

Yes, that is the situation. You get the domain for $1.17 for as long as you keep it, as far as billing support told me when I asked them about it.

They aren't playing dirty, just creating residual business, just the same as any company does. It is guaranting future income so that they can keep offering deals like .99 domain offers.

As for changing the auto-renewal, you can turn that off in your ' domains ' section of your account, however I wouldn't do it because if you are late, you lose the discount and will have to pay for it at the full $19.95 current rate or whatever it will be when it comes due a year from now.

Food for thought. It is worth it just to leave it alone in my opinion.

Thank you very much. OK, now I don't consider Godaddy is playing dirty! :) Of course, the dot com I purchased is a good domain name and I intend to keep it. Normally I buy domains at NameCheap and this is the first time I used GoDaddy.

Thanks again! :)

One account per credit credit. I have prepaid cards often. Worth it when you save 10 bucks

i only was able to get 1 at a discount and one at regular
considering that i usually find a coupon to get it under $8/domain it saved me $3 lol
but i was able to get hempydays dot com and lucidnights dot com (lucid dreaming blog) so am happy :)

I already bought 1 domain with Fall99 but now I can't apply the code for other domains. Is it working only for 1 domain?

It is active till now.Can anybody help me for choosing a "website design" domain name. One domain is free for him.
