    Hello,

I was registering Domain + Hosting on Godaddy

    Domain+
    Private Registration+
    Economy Hosting - Linux - 1 year+
    Certified Domain

    TOTAL: 65 Euros ( Tax Included )

Just the hosting cost 45 Euros
    Is not too much?

may I buy the hosting from another place and my website info will be still not available to WHOIS thanks to private registration on Godaddy?

Please share your comments about it...
    thanks

I use godaddy a lot... and I ALWAYS use the private function. I used to just make up a name and address and that works too, unless they want to get in touch with you via mail. I'm not certain, but I believe they can take your account down if they find you have bogus info.

But to answer your question, while register with Godaddy, I have never hosted with them and yes, you information is safe and private no matter where you host. I believe their privacy feature is "domains by proxy" but not certain on that. There are other registrars that will offer the privacy feature included in the price, at least I know they do at reseller club.

    Hope that helps some.

I have a lot of domains registered with godaddy and hosted with godaddy.

It's easy secure, relatively cheap. Particularly if you have a lot of domains.

However, if I only had one or two domains I would not register and host with the same company. The privicy isn't affected, and it's easy and quick to change the dns to a different host.

I believe GoDaddy /doesn't/ have unlimited hosting, I can't remember offhand. It's possible they have it available.
