Godaddy doesnt allow promo codes the second time

I have used the promo code 2 years back for $1 .com domains in godaddy. Now I tried a $1 .com domain with promo code by Godaddy isn't allowing it. It states, coupons aren't applicable when the account has already been benefited.
Any ways to by pass this? or any other domain name registrations services allowing it now. I would prefer .com domain + whois privacy under $5.

moved all my domains from godaddy... they are not what they used to be
