i want to buy a domain for cheap like i always did tried all i can do , but they say -

:"You qualified for multiple money-saving offers! We've automatically applied the best offer, giving you the lowest price."

$10.17 - For 1 year

but i want my 0.99$ or at last 1.99$ or 2.99$ :(

any one knows how to bypass this?

it happened to me too, i opened a tkt and they told me that the coupon was not valid
belive me i tried like 15 and none of them work

Just keep trying different ones until it works. I had to try a few before I got $4 domain and private whois registration.

few of those coupons and discount offers only valid for US residents or US People only, that's why it's not accepting $0.99 USD domain registration offer.

Most likely the coupon itself has expired. Keep searching for one.

Are you trying to use them on an existing account? I have found that they never seem to work on an existing account, but if you make a new account, they work.

2014 update via godaddy. They are nerfing nearly all previous coupons in effort to cut down on the heavy discounts. I used one yesterday for a 2.99 .com so they exist but I think they are getting rid of the sub $1.99 ones. ALL I did to find this out was called them up and asked them. (Some of them act surprised that 1.99 and .99 coupons exist but call them out on it and they will say they are doing major cut backs)

Yes , you can't use same couple codes for existing account.

Most of the coupons work only on new accounts. Try going through a link that is placed on an ad somewhere else rather than inputting a coupon code. This works all the time for me.

If you have an old account most of the coupons might not work. Almost all work on new accounts but they also are country specific. Key Trying the latest I used were coder199 or 99coms both worked.

Never had much luck using godaddys coupons especially if I wanted to pay with PayPal.

use joinhoney i guest. theres a post here for plugin to auto search the cheapest coupon code.

I have notice this too...getting harder to apply coupon to orders for older accounts.

I haven't been having any issues with the coupons. Maybe it's just something wrong with your account? Or they have some type of restriction to how old your account is? I did notice though... that when you're using a promo code they usually won't allow you to checkout with Paypal. I'm assuming this ties into the issue you are having. Because if they allowed Paypal, then you could just go out and make a fake Paypal account and signup a new account with a new domain name. This way they can verify your credit card details and make sure each account is unique.

Edit: What I tend to do is sign up with a variety of different companies to get the cheaper domains. I've been using Network Solutions and Register in the last and getting the domains between 50 cents and 75 cents. But it only lasts so long until they start wanting you to pay the big bucks. Just do a Google search for "network solutions cheap domain" and the sponsored ads are just begging you to click on them. When your year is up, you can always just transfer them back over to Godaddy too. Not very moral though I'm sure.
