[GoDaddy] Can't pay via Paypal, credit card not accepted. Help? (have $0.99 code)

Well, I loaded a $0.99 promo code for a domain name, but Paypal is no longer an option for payment. Since I have only a Visa Electron credit card, which is not accepted (only plain VISA I guess), I need someone to buy a specific domain for me and forward/gift/send it to my account somehow, if that is possible.

I am going to pay anyone who can help me via Paypal the $1 and supply the promo code.

So, is this possible?

Most probably this code does not include PP payment and CC/DC is the only option. I have no idea, but this is their silly policy about some promotions.
Just check the little text for the promo code. They explain the terms.
 
Yep, I just found that out. However, the thing is that I can't pay by credit card either! I get this message:
Unfortunately, we are unable to process your purchase using this form of payment. Please utilize another form of payment, or contact (480) 505-8855 for further assistance.

where u from buddy..sometimes,the codes only worked for the people from USA n Canada..

i already tested,although u using a credit card,u cant buy it if the codes are for the USa/canada..

Does the code include that it is for specific countries only (check the small font tooltip)? Some of the 0.99 ones are USA and Canada only, like @remshavin said.
 
It didn't specify where I found the code, but the price dropped to $1.17 when I loaded it. Doesn't that mean that it works?
 
I do have Vcc which works for buying go daddy domains but to make some profit i can sell them for $3 each if interested let me know

As of the Op who started this thread i wish i can help you mate but i from india i cant accept personal payments paypal charges 4% + 32 cents per transaction and to make a 1$ card i have to load it with more then 1$ cause the card is loaded with indian money so currency conversion is high

I only have $1.37 on Paypal right now and about $2 on my debit card, which I believe won't be enough. :( Thanks, anyway.

In this case, can anyone direct me some place where I can buy a domain with about $1? I'm really eager to start my first website, even though I'll probably be using free hosting in the first months.

Either you have verified or unverified PayPal account, GoDaddy will ask you to add credit card. Simple as that.
 
I've been a customer for years. They do accept your card. They just refused mine as well, and I have been doing a lot of shopping with them. Best chance is to phone them, that's what I'm planning to do.
 
Would u mind telling me the Promo Code your using? I would like to check if I can pay with paypal in the US.
 
So, it dropped to $1.17 and after someone purchases it for you, you'll pay $1 via paypal. Why would someone make a lose of $0.17 and I guess you're greedy not disclosing the code.

Personally, I would back off. It may seem rude, but I think so.

Is this cent drama still unfolding? It is cents, man. Is the difference between 99 cents and a 1.99, or 2.95, which can be found everywhere for a.com, so great and problematic?
 
You Can Use Yahoo Domains they accept Paypal and also you can get tld's at $1.99 Use Coupon Code YDMCALL
 
This is because the coupon code you entered is only for US/CANADA.

The coupon will work, but you will got error if your are paying using the coupon code for US/CANADA.
