Hi there, fellas!
Few days ago i have found a valuable .com domain while looking through the godaddy auction platform.
It was a bargain and i quickly procedeed to purchase it. All went well, i paid an invoice containing the expiry domain purchase fee and 1 year for the domain transfer itself.. After payment i received the confirmation email.
While waiting for the domain to be transferred, (after 1 or 2 days) i received a cancellation email where they state the order have been cancelled due to an error occurrence..(it says this might be possible due to the domain being previously registered) and another email which notifies me about being refunded the order costs.

I am kind of pissed because the domain was premium and i found it as bargain so i paid for it receiving the confirmation.. Very similar domain is listed now for more than $8000 ...
Did any of you face similar situations? Can i claim anything ?

GD refunded your money, and that's all that they're required to do. Beyond that, there's no recourse. All kinds of things could be the reason for the cancellation. The original registrant might have rescued it from RDP; an actual error might have been made in the listing (I would go for this one since the domain is now relisted at a higher price); the owner might have refused to honor the terms for whatever reason, etc.
