Godaddy auctions question

Lets say I see a nice domain on Godaddy auctions. So I proceed to buy it, but after buying it, I realise there is a Google penalty when I check Webmaster Tools. Am I able to return the domain and get a refund?

GoDaddy does not offer refunds on Domain Auctions. Scroll down to "Products Not Available for Refunds":

You can't do refund but if that domains was really worth it You can take off google penalty through disavov tool and reconsideration request

Refund is not available for domains bought through actions. You just have move on, I guess. I won't recommend disavow or reconsideration.

There is no refund procedure for the Auction Domains.

Don't bother with reconsideration, unless it's a high value domain. Move on.

That's a shame. What a crap rule. Anyway, I haven't actually bought the domain yet.

So in that case, is it possible for me to get in touch with the seller of the domain to ask them a question about the domain?

No, auctions do not work like that.

No, but you can tell google that you just bought the domain and ask them to reconsider the penalty.

You cannot do that. Also if you do not make payment to Godaddy, they will suspend your account.

Do your due diligence before you buy. Checking that the domain has pages indexed in Google would be a good start.

Errr, actually they do. You're forgetting the obvious - eBay. You can ask a seller anything about their product, any time.

Actually, that doesn't prove whether the domain has got a penalty or not.

Are you saying it's possible to acquire the domain before paying godaddy? I don't care about account being suspended if the domain turns out to have a penalty.
