I think you will have to add a payment method here because if I login and goto settings it shows:

Your account is unverified.
You`re limited to 2 bids and $1,500 in total bids until your account is verified.
To verify your account:
Step 1: Enter your PayPal info.
Step 2: Check your email for a confirmation link.

Although they also mention
Note: This doesn`t add your PayPal account to your GoDaddy Auctions payment methods.

How does auction work? I haven't used it before.

Should I transfer my domain from other registrars to GoDaddy first, and then list it for auction?
Can I add an existing website to auction without removing content?
