I bought two expired domains yesterday morning. Spoke to GoDaddy support and was told it could take up to 24 hours for the domains to show up in my account.

Been well over 24 hours, nothing yet. Is this normal? I mean, I'm not in a rush or anything, just curious.

If you bought a domain through godaddy auctions, it takes about 7 days to appear in your account. I don't know where 24 hours came from.

Yeah, I'd give it a couple days before contacting them,
but they should follow up on their word instead of having
people waiting.

Well that depends on the domains status when you bought it, if you bought it on expired category, it will take atleast 2-4 days before it will be transfered to your account, if you bid for it and won it in auction it will take around 7 days for it to be transfered to your account. to check the status of the domains, go to auction - bidding list - won, you can see the status of the domains you bought or won there, and when it would be transfered to you. I think the reason on why you have to wait is grace time for the previous owners, a chance to get that domain back. note: they can get the domain back within the waiting time frame but they have to pay $80 for it. so cross your fingers :P

Minimum time is 7 days

Also maximum time is 7 days :D

If you goto won tab you will see the date when those domains

comes in your account

Thanks guys. Yeah, I just saw the date in my account. But I told the guy on the phone that it says March 6th, and he said to ignore that and that the domain would be ready to go in less than 24 hours. LOL guess not. I'll wait it out :p
