Recently i bid on 2 domains on godaddy auctions, i bought one of the domains while i did not buy the second domain. Godaddy suspended my account for failure to pay for the second domain

will i receive the 1 domain which i paid for, or they will forfeit it?

Reach out to their support. I believe you still have to email them to talk to the auctions team. But I’ve heard of accounts being reinstated and I’ve heard of Godaddy upholding the ban.

You still paid for the domain, it’s yours. They can’t legally take your money and not give you the product. Chances are, you’ll probably get it. Can you still access the auctions page or is it done with?

GoDaddy is the worst (in terms of Support) Registrar I have dealt with.
4x KYC because they were confused about a new reg. I bought Domains (White hat) for about 7-10k in 48 hours.
I permanently suspended my Account, by the way. GoDaddy is separated from GoDaddy Auctions, which means that if you call them - they will redirect you to write an Email to Auctions.

With time, I started to sell most of my valuable Domains externally or transferred them to DynaDot.
Now, after investing like 6 Digits Amounts in their Group (GoDaddy + Auctions ,...), they suspended without any Email Reminder my Auctions Account, because I would not have paid for a Domain (like 200$) I won via Auctions.
I don't want to talk about their fraudulent activities with Auctions - they do.
Besides that, their appraisal tool is now exclusively for Domain Discount Club providers. Claim to give 60% Discount on new Regs for.COM. (22$ approx. price), while others take a max of 10$ from you.
This is just a bunch of .... forget it.

Regarding your Domain: Go to your CC Institute, Bank, Paypal, or any Payment Service Provider - Tell them that they should open a Chargeback because they have not delivered the Goods for what you paid.

The other thing: That's a whole different story and is not connected from a banking perspective to this case.
It is for GoDaddy, probably internally, but not for Banks.

Putting aside how bad GD is, (i do agree)
This is going guarantee that ban OP received stays permanently & losing the domain he won.
& should be last resort if GD doesn't refund him if they do not give him the domain he paid for
OP should reach out to GD first and attempts to resolve it before charging back

Well, a regular Chargeback with Creditcards is not a simple Click.
Sure, the first step is to reach out to GoDaddy.
The Chargeback process takes time, and if the OP has paid for it, he should ask GoDaddy first. However, I would wait a maximum of one week, with one Reminder in between.
If they want money, they send you e-mails like Newsletters.

To be precise, the OP is already banned—they will not "rescue" his Auction Account (ToS).

Op will go to his Bank / Card Issuer - Fill out the Dispute with the Reason that the Goods / Service was not delivered - The card issuer checks it and refunds OP immediately (Step 1) and sends it to the card network (Most likely the Payment-Service-Provider in between, I guess its Stripe for GD)
GD gets the notification and has to prove that Goods or Services were Delivered with Documentation (and believe me, that's a bunch of documents they ask for) - or they accept it :) - in case they don't, it goes back to Payment service Provider, they check it, Bank of OP checks it - Either the proof is valid (OP gets a debit) - File closed. Or he initiates a second Chargeback, and this is then the same drama - at the end, there is Arbitration where the Payment Service Provider decides - and NOBODY, not even Godaddy, wants this manual effort, nor always getting the Chargeback Fee.

So, don't wait - ask for a refund. - or tell them you are getting your Money back.

Banning you from their auctions is their own ToS, but each transaction is separate from the banking POV.
So don't wait, get your Money back.

If you have a VISA or MC, I guess it's 14 days only for them to provide that evidence; for Amex, it's 28 Days, as far as I remember.
If you pay via PayPal, it's even easier.

totally true. No, they won't reinstate his account.
Unfortunately, there is no way that he can log in; I guess there is a 404 Error.

The only thing you can do is check the WHOIS.
https://www.whois.com/
And check if something has changed, like Registrar, any Update etc. Then they sold it.
But often, they keep it. There is too much headache with GoDaddy, to be honest. I would do the chargeback after writing them straight forward—they will cut off some admin fees, etc., anyway.

Plain vanilla, you paid for something = you did not receive it (OP)
Two different transactions.
