Godaddy Auction Domains & MajesticSeo

Sorry I could not frame the title properly.

I brought 2*PR4 and 1*PR5 domains from godaddy auctions.

I checked their backlinks in majesticSeo before participating in auction. There are backlinks, after 5 hrs I won the auctions and purchased the domains, now I saw the majesticSEO site and there are no backlinks for any of the domains? I am totally confused!!! More over, the PR5 domain is banned from google search.

I have spent like 150USD for these domains, are these totally waste?

What should I do with them now?

Short answer is yes, I think you've wasted your money. The PR was fluffed and Google deindexed the site. majesticSEO probably gets their data from Google, so it won't report the existence of those backlinks. You can appeal the deindexing, but they will never let that site be used for the same niche again. Not sure what happens to the backlinks.

MajesticSeo gathers their own data. They crawl and process page links. You got ripped off. Always check the actual back links first to see where they are. If they're all a bunch of forum posts, blog comments or anything else that looks like it came from some spam bot then stay away.

I'd at least make a stink with GoDaddy and try and get the guy's account shut down or something, not that GoDaddy cares about it's customers but it might give you some satisfaction to try.

This is strange. I have BH idea. If someone (e.g. last owner of this domains) use 10-50 high page rank forums as normal user and have good number of posts to all of them with link to some site/s on the signature, he can wait while this site get page rank and then sell it. When the new buyer order this domain with page rank, last owner can blackmail new owner or just to add new domain in the forums signature for the next flipping.

BTW, about the problem. Do you check the page rank for the domains - fake or not (searching google for info:sitedotcomornetororgorwhatever). This is possible majesticSEO to have the backlinks for the domain that get redirect from those that you buy.

I get PR2 domain about month ago - the alexa rank still is 10 000, but I haven`t hits from. The page rank is still 2. Google is crazy last months. I get PR1 on one of my domains with 0 backlinks and the rank is still 1.

Is it posible, that G when change the use in the web, change pr, but think in a little time up pr, because this domain is old.

Yeah it sounds like you got ripped. Alot of people will bs a PR and sell, or sell only banned domains. So quit using that method imo
