Yes you can, after 60 days, you can transfer out to any domain registrar you want. Can i lately transfer the .99 godaddy domains to another registrar?
Godaddy will suck the soul out of you, then they'll drain your bones and leave only the dust that's left of you.
Godaddy the worst service EVER. STAY OUT, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GODADDY..
...........
Yes you can, after 60 days, you can transfer out to any domain registrar you want.
And for this reason we should use as many .99c codes for domains and then ......
Because Godaddy will "suck the soul out of you and your credit card! "
Set a reminder to transfer out 5 months before expiry! Do Not Forget!
And if you use their whois privacy service you better disable it months before you plan to transfer because it'll block your domain for 90 days against transfer IIRC. And if you forget the privacy service password, it becomes a PITA or even impossible to get out of Godaddy so remember your whois privacy password, it's a separate account that Godaddy does not help you with at all, which seems kinda fishy IMO as if it's meant to lock you in, because it's definitely not intuitive that your privacy guard account would be separate from the Godaddy registrar account. And there are other reasons why I left Godaddy, but these are the two main points I can remember about transferring out.
Personally I'd rather pay 10 bucks at namecheap if the domain is not disposable.
I didn't have any problem with GD for almost 8 years using till now. I'm having many domains at them. I always get discount when renew and buying Privacy services. I've just buy Privacy service but I don't see any password for this function. Where is it? Don't know why you have trouble with themAnd if you use their whois privacy service you better disable it months before you plan to transfer because it'll block your domain for 90 days against transfer IIRC.
