Just find out this thing on godaddy.
.INFO domain is $2.17 (includes ICANN fee) on godaddy now.

There was a $1 .com coupon expired on godaddy. But the coupon code still works with .INFO. Here is how;

1. First search your .com domain for registration.
2. Go through all pages till to the checkout page (Order Summary Page).
3. Now enter the COOL1 coupon. The coupon will not be accepted for .com because it is expired. Dont worry..
4. You can see "Add these matching domains" link there. Click to add .INFO version.
5. Simply click on it for adding and see the price.. It is $0.67 (includes ICANN fee)
6. Now remove the .com domain from cart. Godaddy will not accept payment less than $1. So click on Round up for charity button and continue to checkout.

Congratulations!! You are now registered your .INFO domain for $1!!

Note: Remember to follow exact steps above.
Post here if you got it for $1..

Will try after I get some sleep. If this works, +rep!

nope, should try asap.. because they may remove the deal.

Thanks, it worked out smoothly! Btw, there's no need to input a coupon, just continue to the product overview stage, where GoDaddy will automatically highlight the matching domains that are sold at a buck.

@ego_whore
Yes, it showing reduced price. But when we start ordering, the price is 1.99 and when we come to checkout, the link showing $0.49. Thanks for the input.

@ei8ht
The .com coupon was expired today.. I am also searching for a $1 deal.

worked a treat - many thanks, I just grabbed half a dozen cheap domains.. cool

Si

UPDATE: First try ego_whore's instructions. it should work.
that means, simply search and add .INFO domain and go till checkout page.
It should show the low price..

1) Think of the poor starving children.
2) Decide to donate $0.33 to charity and GoDaddy will match your donation.
3) ???
4) Profit.

If one man ask, many others will follow...
